### What changed
Keyboard shortcuts went dead as soon as the map had focus.
The global `keyup` handler in `App.tsx` gated shortcuts on
`document.activeElement === document.body`. That reads like "the user is
not
typing", but it actually asks "is nothing focused at all". Clicking the
map makes
`.maplibregl-canvas` the active element, so every shortcut stopped
working until the
map was blurred.
The `m` shortcut demonstrates the problem nicely: its entire job is to
focus that
canvas, so pressing `m` silently disabled all shortcuts until `Esc`.
That path is
covered by an existing test (`'m' should focus map`), which is why the
regression
was easy to miss.
### How
`isTextEntryElement()` now answers the question the guard was reaching
for, so
shortcuts are suppressed only for text entry targets:
`input`, `textarea`, `select`, and `contenteditable` — the last one
covering the
CodeMirror editor, which is a `contenteditable` `.cm-content`.
The check stays independent of either renderer's DOM. MapLibre's
`.maplibregl-canvas` and the OpenLayers viewport live in different
structures, so an
allow-list of canvas class names would have fixed one renderer and left
the other
broken.
### Behaviour change
Single-letter shortcuts now also fire while focus is on a button or a
panel, where
previously they did not. That is inherent to making the map case work —
the old
predicate simply excluded everything that was not `document.body`. Per
@HarelM, this
can be reverted if anyone complains.
### Tests
`e2e/keyboard.spec.ts` gains a `while the map has focus` block. Its
`beforeEach`
focuses the canvas through the `m` shortcut and asserts the canvas
really is focused,
then two independent tests check that `!` and `s` still open their
modals.
Verified the new tests fail without the fix:

and pass with it.

change.

When a fixed paint value is converted to a zoom function, Maputnik
creates exactly two stops.

Deleting either one of those two stops leaves a single remaining value.
During the transition back to the ordinary field editor, `ZoomProperty`
can render with `stops` undefined. It previously called `.map`
unconditionally, causing the editor to crash.

This PR guards the stop list with optional chaining. The change only
protects the render path and does not alter zoom-function conversion or
value persistence.
Now, the remaining stop's value will be restored after deleting the
other stop:

1. Convert a fixed value to a zoom function.
2. Change the second stop's value.

successfully.

Deleting a layer changes the starting indices of later groups, so their
stored expansion state no longer matches. Preserve that state through
surviving layer IDs when rebuilding the group keys.
This keeps expanded groups open after deleting an earlier layer or the
first layer of a group. Separate groups with the same prefix retain
their own states; if deletion joins two groups, the merged group stays
expanded when either was expanded.
- Fixes#1781.
Adds five deletion regression tests, a small style fixture, and a
changelog entry.
Validation:
- All 33 layer-list E2E tests and 50 unit tests pass.
- Lint and the production build, including TypeScript checking, pass.
- Manually checked OSM Liberty: all 15 groups remain expanded after
deleting the background layer.
- The full E2E suite reports 160 passing tests and one failure in
`modals > open > upload` (`Could not get styleItem from localStorage`).
The same failure reproduces with the original production code restored.

## Summary
The Go desktop binary started its local server and printed the URL,
but never opened a browser automatically.
This PR:
- opens the default browser after the listener successfully binds
- uses the actual runtime URL
- uses a stdlib-only cross-platform launcher
- keeps browser-open failures non-fatal
- adds `--no-browser` for headless/Docker use
- leaves the normal Vite/web development flow unchanged
The listener is created before launching the browser so the browser
cannot race the server startup path.
## Platform behavior
- Windows: `rundll32 url.dll,FileProtocolHandler`
- macOS: `open`
- Linux: `xdg-open`
No shell command strings are used; arguments are passed directly through
`exec.Command`.
## Testing
- `go test ./...`
- `go vet ./...`
- `go build ./...`
- `git diff --check`
- repeated manual Windows startup verification (3 clean runs, confirmed
the
browser opened and hit the server, no duplicate launches)
- `--no-browser` verification (confirmed no launch attempt occurs)
- non-fatal launcher failure covered by a unit test that injects a
nonexistent opener binary
macOS/Linux launch paths were not runtime-tested on this Windows machine
—
they follow the standard `open`/`xdg-open` convention used across other
Go
CLIs but are unverified here. The full packaged release flow (`gox`,
`go.rice`, `go-winres`) was not exercised locally.

## Feat: Add drag and drop support to Upload Style area

### Problem
The Upload Style area only supported click-to-upload. Users could not
drag and drop a JSON file directly onto it.
### Fix
Added `onDragOver` and `onDrop` event handlers to the Upload Style area.
The dropped file is passed to the existing file reading logic already
used by the Upload button. A visual highlight is shown when dragging
over the area.
Fix a few typos identified with codespell.

The problem is that the editor at the end of the layer editor view is
forcing some scrolling due to a different bug that was solved.
- #1492 which was solved in PR: #1501
The previous fix was in oder to solve issues in the code editor which
has all the style in it, and a search-and-replace operation is used to
change the content, so there was a need to introduce the previous fix.
The current solution is to scroll the view only for the code editor
using a react prop, which is `false` by default.

When a sprite object is used, the current settings modal does not
present it well and does not allow editing.
This changes the input from a string to json.
It does make the editing a bit more cumbersome as you need to type `"`
now instead of just placing the address, but if you click the info
button you should be able to understand that this is a special field.
The fact that it looks like a code editor should also help guide users
to place different input there.

This is in order to reduce warnings in the console for React 19 usage.
This removes the deprecated defaultProp and also move all the store
initialization logic out of the App.tsx file, keeping it a lot more
clean.
It removes the `debug` flag from the supported urls along with the
`localport` and `localhost`, which I'm not sure if and how they were
ever used.
The tests are using the `style` url, so I think it is covered in terms
of tests.
It also improves some typings along the project.
It removes some callbacks from the code and moves to use promises.

When localStorage is full you start getting a "QuotaExceededError".
RIght now Maputnik does not handle this situation gracefully, it just
fails loading the style with a non-descriptive error message.
This PR purges localStorage and tries again when this particular error
happens.
It still does not show a descriptive error message. If you try to load a
style that is larger than what localStorage can handle, it will still
fail with a non-descriptive error message.
Increased the size of `example-style.json` so that it causes a
QuotaExceededError when running the regression test (try it before and
after this PR).

## Description
`showOpenFilePicker` and `showSaveFilePicker` are undefined on Firefox.
With this pr, Maputnik uses the old behavior as a fallback. It keeps the
naming "open" and "save" instead of "upload" and "download" to underline
that the style stays within the browser and no actual upload happens.
@zstadler Could you give it a try, please?

The "Save as" button gets hidden if `showSaveFilePicker` is not
available since it would have no use.

## Changes
- This pull request makes use of the FileSystemFileHandle API to modify
a local file. No need to download it - just click save.
- I don't know how to cover this functionality by tests so I need
directions in case test coverage is required.
- The pull request adds
[@types/wicg-file-system-access](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@types/wicg-file-system-access)
as a new dev dependency which I am not really pleased about but can't
think of a way around it.
## Known Limitations
- The used File API is only available in when accessed from https or on
localhost.
- There is no visual indicator that the file has been saved. Previously
the browser showed it as a new download.
